Who we are

Paprhouse is a trading name of Rivvar Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16808280), registered office 41 High Street, Leicester, United Kingdom, LE8 0HS. Rivvar Limited is the controller of the personal information described here.

What this notice covers

This notice covers the paprhouse.com website and emails you exchange with us.

It does not cover our apps, After and Finn, or the After website at heyafter.com. They are separate services, and how they handle information is explained where you use them.

When you visit this website

You can browse the whole site without giving us any information. There are no forms, accounts, analytics or advertising trackers, and the site doesn't set cookies.

The site's pages, fonts and images are all delivered from our website hosting. In our checks of the site before launch, loading the pages and using the features on them, such as the menu and the product demonstrations, made no requests to any other service.

Like any website, it can only be delivered if your browser's requests reach the servers that host it. Those requests carry technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page requested and the time.

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which receives these requests to deliver the pages and to keep the service running securely. We haven't enabled any of Vercel's analytics or optional logging features.

The product demonstrations on the After and Finn pages run entirely in your browser with example data. They don't send anything to us or anyone else, and nothing you choose in them is stored. "Copy email address" only places our address on your device's clipboard when you ask it to.

We use this technical information only to deliver the website and keep it secure. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: running a working, secure website for people who choose to visit it.

Links and your email app

Some links take you to other websites, such as heyafter.com, Instagram and LinkedIn. When you follow one, your browser connects to that website and the services it uses, under their own privacy notices. Nothing is loaded from them before you click.

Our email links open the email app on your device. Sending a message then involves your own email provider, under its terms, as well as ours.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website doesn't use cookies, local storage or similar technologies to store or read information on your device, and it has no analytics, advertising or social media tracking. That's why it doesn't ask for cookie consent.

If that changes, we'll update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

When you email us

If you email hello@paprhouse.com (including through the website's email links), we receive your name and email address, the content of your message and anything you attach, along with the usual email metadata.

Our email is provided by Google Workspace, which we use only to send and receive email.

We use your information on these bases:

• To reply to you and deal with your enquiry: legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us).
• Where your enquiry is about working together: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Sending us an enquiry doesn't sign you up to marketing.

Marketing emails

We don't currently send marketing emails, and there is no newsletter or signup.

If we start, we'll only send marketing emails to people who have agreed to receive them, and we'll update this notice before we ask anyone to sign up. A general enquiry, an email to us, visiting this website or viewing a product page is never agreement to marketing.

Who receives your information

We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising. These service providers handle it on our behalf to deliver our website and email:

• Vercel Inc. (website hosting).
• Google (Google Workspace email).

We may also share information where the law requires it, or with professional advisers where needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

International transfers

Vercel and Google may process information in the United States and other countries outside the UK.

Google's data processing terms, which form part of our Google Workspace agreement, include the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Both Google and Vercel state that they are certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.

How long we keep information

• Website request logs: kept by Vercel for no more than a day.
• Enquiries: we delete the enquiry thread and associated attachments within four months after the conversation ends, including copies kept elsewhere.

Deleted information can remain in backups held by our service providers for a limited time before it is overwritten.

We may keep particular information for longer where we need it to deal with a complaint or dispute, or where the law requires it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, and to ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict how we use it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Where we rely on contract or consent, you can also ask for your information in a portable form.

You have the right to object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests, and you can object to direct marketing at any time, in which case we will stop.

To use any of these rights, email hello@paprhouse.com or write to us at the registered office. The law gives us one month to respond, which can be extended by up to two further months for complex or numerous requests; if so, we'll tell you within the first month and explain why. We may need to ask you to confirm your identity or clarify your request before we can respond.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've used your information, please tell us first, by email to hello@paprhouse.com or by post to the registered office. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receiving it, look into it without undue delay, and tell you the outcome.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commission, the UK's data protection regulator (formerly the Information Commissioner's Office, ICO). It usually expects you to have raised the matter with us first. Changes to this notice

We'll update this notice when our practices change, and the date at the top shows the latest version. We'll review it, and how we ask for consent, before we take on client work, introduce marketing emails or new systems for keeping records, or otherwise change how we use personal information.
